We grill out a lot during the summer and its normally chicken. It’s cheap and you can seasoning it in many ways. But after a while I get tired of chicken and want something different. I’m always looking for new recipes. When I found this recipe I was a bit hesitant since I don’t really like spicy foods. My husband loves it. For him, the spicier the food, the better. So I decided to try it, just for some change.

Let the pork chops set and come to room temperature. You don’t want to put cold meat onto a hot gill. Brush pork chops with canola oil. Then mix together dry ingredients in a bowl. Generously rub mixture on both sides of pork chops.

Before placing pork chops on grill, brush some olive oil on the grill grates. Grill chops for 6 – 10 minutes per side, depending on how thick your pork chops are.

We served our chops with grilled squash and BBQ baked beans and with a little extra BBQ sauce for dipping. I adapted the recipe so it wouldn’t be so spicy but it does have a kick. If you want yours to be real hot and spicy, just add a little more cayenne pepper.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
